Position Description
The Human Resources Director is responsible for development and implementation of all Human Resource services and employee benefit management for the organization. The incumbent in this position serves as a member of the Senior Leadership team with a proven record demonstrating success and career progression in the HR field. This person will oversee the maintenance of all employee and independent contractor personnel files. The Director will work closely with and serve as liaison to the Personnel Committee of the Board of Directors.
Essential Functions
1. Conduct new employee orientation and onboarding with an organized schedule and all proper paperwork in a timely fashion.
2. Perform exit interviews, terminations, and out processing of employees timely and accurately.
3. Maintain all employee files and keep current with appropriate documentation and required paperwork.
4. The incumbent in this position must be a subject matter expert in all aspects of writing, developing, revising, and practicing application of the policies of the CHCCW. Rendering policies reviewed and ready for updates and revisions which are submitted for update or review to the Board of Directors.
5. Assure Workers Compensation reports are filed in a timely manner.
6. Review and maintain all job descriptions. Keeping them accessible and relevant for publication. Coaching and mentoring department managers when revisions are necessary as positions evolve.
7. Has primary responsibility for ensuring and obtaining quotes for annual benefit renewals.
8. Conducts, aggregates data, and ensures that the CHCCW employee engagement survey is conducted annually.
9. Conduct and maintain training records for all staff and supervisors. Maintaining expertise with the CHCCW Learning Management System (LMS)
10. Assist managers and direct reports with disciplinary meetings, progressive discipline, and/or applying the practices that reflect the policies and procedures of CHCCW policy.
11. In following the chain of command policy of the CHCCW, assist managers with employee issues and questions as they arise.
12. Post new positions and filter applications as necessary and assist in the interview process.
13. Ensure the organization stays current on employee law standards and updates.
14. Assist with employee safety program and standards. Attend monthly meetings.

Minimum Qualifications
* Education: A minimum of a bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business or Human Resources) or equivalent of five (5) years of experience in Human Resources is required, prior experience at a director’s level is highly desirable. Specific experience in a health care setting is desirable.
* Certifications: Demonstrated knowledge of the field of HR from accrediting or certifying entities are requisite. (SPHR or SCP)

Compensation:
Many factors are considered when determining the annual salary for this opportunity. Those specifics can be found in the posiotion description. A range for the position for regional health centers is $95,000.00 to $112,000.00 annually. HR certifications are reimbursed.
