Job Summary:

An exempt leadership position reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, supervising and directing Family Medical Centers’ operations in close coordination with the Medical Director and (FMC) leaders. Serves on the Executive Leadership team, developing and implementing long- and short-term strategic goals. Seeks optimal alignment of FMC processes and approaches with the agency broadly (no FQHC service lines) in the interest of overall efficiency, best practices, and maximum leverage of resources available to address the social determinants of health. Monitors compliance with governmental regulations and industry requirements. Reports Family Medical Centers programs and progress to the ILCAO Board.

Qualifications:

Education : Master’s degree, or equivalent, in health care administration, business administration, or public administration.

Experience: Senior level experience at a Practice Management, FQHC or Healthcare Organization. Proven successes and team building experience. Proven grant writing experience preferred. Knowledge of HRSA programs and requirements preferred.

Other Requirements: Licensure or ability to obtain licensure when background credentials warrant that such is required.

Personal Attributes: Should exhibit positive, professional demeanor towards operations, staff, clients, patients and their families and be an ambassador for the mission of Ironton-Lawrence County CAO and the Family Medical Centers.
