Job Summary and Qualifications

Must be available to take Call on week nights and weekends
The Echo Technician performs cardiac ultrasound without supervision to include
but not limited to M-Mode, 2-Dimensional, Doppler and Color Doppler studies.
Technicians will be proficient in performing Transesophageal and stress
echocardiograms. Studies will be performed on adult and geriatric populations.
Technicians will have technical skill of studies as well as instrumentation,
maintenance of equipment function and safety policy and procedures.

# What qualifications you will need:

* College or technical training program for echocardiography preferred

• At least 2 years of experience in Echocardiography required
• Must be registered with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• High School Graduate / GED
