Job Summary and Qualifications

* Performs routine, sleep, portable, CDS, EMGs and EP studies on adult and pediatric patients according to Policies and Procedures.

• Ensures that quality patient care is provided within the defined area of accountability.
• Assures all records are available for physicians to read on a daily basis.
• Obtains pertinent patient history; including neurological and psychological screening.
• Demonstrates proficiency in operating and troubleshooting equipment used in the EEG/EMG/EP lab.
• Restocks work areas with necessary supplies. Keeps work areas clean and orderly to promote patient safety.
• Submits activity reports as requested.

# What qualifications you will need:

EDUCATION

• Graduate of a recognized EEG school – preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Six months experience in EEG – required
