ER/Hospitalist Physician

Become the third physician in a group covering the Emergency Department and Hospitalist functions at a 25 bed critical access hospital located in West Texas. Work five 24 hour shifts on and then have 10 days off. ER volume averages 5-8 patients per 24 hours and inpatient volume averages 3-6 patients including transitional care/swing-bed patients. This model has been in place for 3 years with success. Physician would be employed by WJ Mangold Memorial Hospital with benefits as available to other employees. Also included is a CME expense allowance, license fees paid, and professional liability insurance. Location is 1 hour from Lubbock and 1.5 hours from Amarillo.
