Family Physician Opportunity in SW Kansas includes housing and J-1 sponsor

Our Health Center is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician to join our mission-driven team. Key Responsibilities

* Demonstrate professionalism and compassionate customer service with patients, their families and with staff
* Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, and chronic illnesses, including ordering x-rays and labs to assist in evaluating and diagnosing illnesses and injuries.
* Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
* Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
* Supervise mid-level practitioners in hospital and rural health clinic

Qualifications:

* Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine
* Fully licensed as an MD or DO
* Graduate of an accredited Family Medicine Residency Program, preferred

Certification Requirements:

* Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
* Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience (required and/or preferred)

* Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferred
* Family Medicine residents encouraged to apply

Work Schedule: Flexible scheduling per providers. ER coverage consists of 1 weekday per week and one weekend per month.
