Twin County Regional Healthcare, a Duke Lifepoint Hospital, is seeking qualified primary care physicians to join our team in expanding our outpatient primary care services to the greater Galax region of southwestern Virginia.

**
Requirements:**

* Completion of an ACGME accredited Family Medicine Residency Program

* Legally eligible to practice in the United States

* Ability to obtain a medical license in the state of Virginia

Position Basics:

* Employment options for part-time can be considered, along with full time or reoccurring PSA shifts

* Employment : Physician Group Employed Position (hospital employed)

* Expectations : In office care consist of 20-25 patients per day with 40-50 new patients a month. Traditional model includes outpatient clinic, newborn nursery, minimal inpatient and delivery care

* Current Practice Structure : Physicians, APPs, clerical staff, LPNs, Lactation Consultant, Office Manager

* Schedule : Standard office house with flexible day options to extend hours for 4-5 days per week. Shared call 10 days minimum with one weekend per month

* Location : Office located less than 1ml from hospital. Service area includes Galax and surrounding counties

* Equipment and Services : In office lab for rapid test and CBCs, Lactation Consulting

* Accolades and Accreditations : Rural Health Clinic
