Gastroenterologist Opportunity in Ohio – $100k Sign on Bonus + $200k Medical School Loan Repayment!

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established and highly regarded gastroenterology practice in Portsmouth, Ohio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team of experienced providers, including Nurse Practitioners with over 10 years of GI experience, and Dr. Jesse Houghton, FACG, who has been a valued member of the community since 2012.

This position is ideal for a gastroenterologist who is looking to be busy immediately, with the potential to build a full patient load right from the start. The practice operates in a single location, and the hospital Endoscopy Suite is just a 2-minute walk from the clinic, providing convenient access to advanced procedural facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform bread-and-butter gastroenterology procedures and clinical care, including 8-15 procedures per day in the Endoscopy Suite.
* See approximately 30 patients per day in the clinic.
* Manage light on-call duties, with the ability to take call from home. Rarely required to come in for emergent cases.
* Work in collaboration with experienced Nurse Practitioners and an established support team.
* Utilize advanced medical equipment, including Olympus scopes, esophageal manometry, Bravo pH, and Rapid Pillcam.
* Maintain accurate documentation using the Provation Medical Documentation System (integrates with Olympus for easy coding and billing).

Practice Schedule:

* Clinical office hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m., Friday 8:00 a.m. 12:00 p.m.
* Light call responsibilities, with rare emergent cases.

Compensation & Benefits:

* Base Salary: $730,000 annually with bonus potential.
* Bonus Structure: Earn 90% or more of the MGMA salary with additional bonuses.
* Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000.
* Signing Bonus: 15% of base salary (up to $100,000).
* Residency/Fellowship Stipend: Up to $25,000.
* Moving Allowance: $10,000.
* CME: $5,000 plus 5 days of PTO annually.
* Bonus Incentives: Up to 10% of salary.
