CLEBURNE QUALITY HEALTH CARE
Position Description
* Provide dental care by diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and malformations of teeth and gums;
* Examines patient’s teeth and surrounding oral structures, utilizing x-rays, instruments, and other diagnostic procedures,
* Locate and repair cavities in teeth,
* Extract infected or otherwise diseased or troublesome teeth;
* Make impressions and models of the jaw and mouth as needed,
* Treat diseases of teeth and mouth with appropriate drugs or surgery;
* Advise patients about dental health practices
* Conducts and active dental health education program
* Supervises the completion of the most feasible plan of treatment fore ach patient
* Practice four-handed dentistry
* Maintains current EDR system
* prepares health plans, progress reports, and narrative and statistical reports
* Ability to communicate and relate effectively with patients, administration and medical personnel;
* Must be able to function as a collaborative and egalitarian team member;
* Must be able to work under stress while maintaining a level of quiescence that decreases anxiety in personnel and patients;
* Must be able to work with children

Education & Experience Requirements:
Education & Experience Requirements:
DDS or DMD from an approved/accredited dental school
Valid State of Alabama license to practice dentistry
Basic Computer Skills
Work Schedule:
Weekdays (8-5)
Compensation Range:
TBD/Negotiable
