Hospice Medical Director – Sanford Health – Sioux Falls, SD

-This role includes the clinical program development of a shared home hospice and inpatient program
-Join a committed leadership team to educate the multidisciplinary team throughout the organization and promote hospice benefits to the community we serve
-Practice includes clinical and administrative leadership of the Hospice program based in Sioux Falls, SD with branches in SD and MN
-The program features Home Hospice, Residential Hospice Cottages, and a 20-Bed Adult/Ped Inpatient Hospice House
-Disease management and pain and symptom management of all levels of hospice patient care
-Experience in care of terminally ill patients and program development is desired
-Willing to lead and grow practice with an emphasis on high reliability and team-based care
-Demonstrates ability to promote teamwork and collaboration within the interdisciplinary team as well as referral sources and the communities we serve
-Flexible work schedule, plus call coverage
-Interdisciplinary Team includes: APPs, RN, Pastoral Care, Social Worker, Case Management and Medical Ethicists

Competitive compensation package includes:
-Compensation floor of $250,000 for the first four years of the employment contract
–$100,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 3 years (this is subject to a contractual agreement)
