Hospitalist Opportunity – University of Rochester Affiliate

The University of Rochester’s affiliate hospital, Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville, NY , is seeking Hospitalists to join its inpatient team of Physicians, APPs and nurses. We are a low volume, 49-bed hospital w/ 6-bed ICU, average census of 20-25 pts – our Hospitalists work 7 on/7 off, day shift (on-site) and call from home w/ in-house APP coverage (nights). Jones Memorial Hospital recently expanded and renovated its 3rd floor Medical Village to include Women’s Health, Pediatrics, and Family Practice w/ OB, as well as UR’s Faculty Group practice w/ rotating specialty clinics (Cardiology, Urology, Neurology, General Surgery, Rheumatology, Oncology, and more). Many of our hospital and ambulatory services are supported by UR faculty, and/or 24-hour consult service available via faculty in Rochester.

Education & Experience Requirements:

MD/DO with training in an accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency program

BC/BE (ABIM or ABFM)

NY license-eligible
