Internal Medicine Opportunity with NHSC eligible site in SE Kansas

Our Regional Health Center is seeking a full-time internal medicine physician to join our well established primary and specialty care clinic. We are a provider-based Rural Health Clinic located on the hospital campus in the Medical Office Building. Our Health Center consists of both primary and specialty care to include family practice, pediatrics, cardiology, general surgery, and orthopedics and sports medicine.

Additional income opportunities are available assisting with Hospitalist coverage on weekends and covering vacations if desired.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide high-quality direct patient care and will remain current in issues concerning advancement in general internal medicine.

Expected to perform minor office procedures as well as hospital outpatient procedures.

Supervision of and collaboration with advanced practice providers who assist in the management of clinic patients

Participate in a clinic call (phone only) schedule with a rotation of 1:5.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

MD/DO degree

Graduate from an accredited Internal Medicine residency program

Board certified or eligible for certification in internal medicine

Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in Kansas
