* The Lexington, KY VA Healthcare System (LVAHCS) seeks a highly motivated physician to lead its dynamic and patient-centered state department as the Chief of Primary Care.
* Direct and supervise the clinical activities of a competent and collegial staff of approximately 60 physicians, PAs, NPs and medical support medical staff, at the main clinic in Lexington and four community-based clinics located in Somerset, Morehead, Hazard, and Berea, KY.
* Participate in direct patient care and serve as a role model for peers with a mix of 80% administrative and 20% clinical duties.
* The facility is ranked 6th nationally for quality and commended by a Joint Commission Survey team for “restoring their faith in VA.” Nearly 94% of Veterans trust LVAHCS with their care.

The Lexington VA Healthcare System provides an excellent compensation and benefits package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Unrestricted licensure in any State and US citizenship is required.
