Position Description
The Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) responsibilities include guiding patients through crises, diagnosing psychological disorders, highlighting problematic patterns that need to be changed, improving communication, and assisting patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors. The LMFT will evaluate, diagnose, and treat mental and emotional disorders, health issues, behavioral issues, and a wide range of relationship dynamics within the context of couples, marriage, and family systems.
Role Qualifications:
Education: Must have a master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field.
Current and unrestricted PA state license as an LMFT (licensed marriage and family therapist).
Experience: A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a clinical setting working as a marriage and family therapist.
CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) are required.
