Job Summary and Qualifications

The Line Cook works under the direction of the FANS Management team to ensure
that all work is performed utilizing all safety and sanitation guidelines.
Performs routine daily tasks related to hot production needs of the
Nutritional Service Department. The position will prepare and cook all hot
food and related items ensuring a clean and sanitized work area in accord with
recipe requirements. Provides the highest level of customer service at all
times.

# What qualifications you will need:

· High School Diploma or its equivalent, preferred
· One year of experience in healthcare food and nutrition services preferred
· Ability to read, write and converse in English required
HCA Florida Highlands Hospital is a 126-bed acute hospital. We offer a full
range of Emergency, Surgical and Inpatient and Outpatient services. We have
served Sebring, Florida, and the surrounding counties since 1965. We offer
advanced technology, attracting the most qualified physicians and surgeons in
the area. Our Emergency Room is the area’s only dedicated Senior ER. This
features designated parking and hearing amplifiers. This also offers optical
devices, specific discharge planning and personal scheduling assistance. All
patient directives are clear, easing tension. Our Orthopedic Institute
provides an upscale environment for joint replacements. Patients are at ease
in our facility. The hospital specializes in minimally invasive procedures.
These result in shorter hospital stays and a faster recovery.
