Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Maintenance Mechanic Plumber at our facility you will have the
opportunity to be both an expert in your field providing important services
for our patients and staff. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives

impressive team that prides themselves on keeping our hospital functioning
well and looking its best.
The Maintenance Mechanic Plumber operates and maintains the continuous safe
operation of all assigned mechanical plant equipment, utilities systems and
provides quality maintenance support in order to provide safe buildings and
grounds for patients, visitors, physicians and staff. _This position
requires on call hours._
In this role:

• You will perform general maintenance duties on equipment, utilities, and grounds in order to provide safe buildings and grounds for patients, visitors, physicians, and staff.
• You will be responsible for making minor repairs throughout the hospital.
• You will complete assigned preventive maintenance duties.
• You will assist other department crafts.
• You will provide friendly, professional interactions with others as you encounter patients, visitors, and other hospital staff throughout your assigned shifts.

# What qualifications you will need:

* State of Alaska Plumber Journeyman license required

• State of Alaska 2nd Class Boiler Operator license required within 12 months of hire
• Driver’s license preferred.
• Requires 5 years journeyman plumber experience
