Job Summary and Qualifications

Seeking a hospital-based Laboratory Manager like you to provide expertise and
champion results. We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other
and are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels the patient
experience is as meaningful as we do.
In this role, you will:

• Lead and monitor employees, laboratory performance and staff development to ensure adherence to policies and procedures, timelines and regulatory requirements
• Develop monitoring systems for the collection, documentation and reporting of quality assessment and improvement data; extracts pertinent information from quality assessment and improvement studies, initiates corrective action plans, and re-monitors results
• Evaluate existing systems and processes and develops corrective action plans for service/quality trends identified Initiates changes and monitors for improvement
• Ensure departments proactively respond to feedback from customers (internal and external) and implements improvement mechanisms to enhance the overall ability of the department to meet the customer’s needs for laboratory services

What qualifications you will need:

* Education: Must meet the educational and/or work experience criteria acceptable for technical and/or general supervisor level certification and recognition by CLIA and GDHR.

• Licensure/Certifications: Technologist Certification as defined by GDHR required
• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a technologist and 3+ years experience at a supervisory level in 3 clinical laboratories settings: Blood Bank/Immunohematology, Chemistry, Hematology, Histology, Microbiology, and/or Serology/immunology required
