Job Summary and Qualifications
The Manager PCU is responsible for overall operation of the department to
include all services. Other responsibilities may include: liaison with medical
staff, development and revision of policies/procedures, ensuring adherence to
CCU/PCU/Telemetry nursing standards of care. The Manager will also aware of
and responds to ethical and legal issues involving critical care services.
Directs, coordinates and supervises quality nursing care to include
coordination of patient care services.
# What qualifications you will need:
* Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
- 3+ years of acute care nursing experience required
- Registered Nurse – Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state in which he or she practices, in accordance with law and regulation required OR Valid Compact/Multistate RN License if applicable required
- BCLS and ACLS required
