dedicated Managing Director like you to be a part of our team.
Job Summary and Qualifications
Leads department efforts in monitoring and reacting to Medicare payment policy
and regulations, serves as department subject matter expert on Medicare
enrollments and coordinates department efforts on MGCRB and rural
reclassifications.
_Policy and Regulations_
- Keeps departmental leadership up to date on policy/regulatory proposals affecting Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE reimbursement, including MedPAC proposals.
- Works with FAH and AHA on comments for significant payment policy regulations
- Maintains and updates 10k and 10Q sections related to Medicare
- Provide regulatory research to the Reimbursement ream where requested
- Medicare Enrollment NPI and UEI Processes
- Serves as the depts SME for Medicare enrollment
- Managed and maintains hospitals’ NPI and UEI
- Monitors enrollment requirements and issues. Communicate these to DRDs, REGS and E&C
_MGCRB and Rural Classifications_
- Serves as the Company’s SME on MGCRB and rural reclassifications
- Reviews all HCA hospitals for potential MGCRB reclassifications
- Works with and supports DRDs on MGCRB submissions and monitors process of submissions and approvals
- Evaluates MGCRB denials and develops and submits appeals when appropriate
- Reviews hospitals for rural reclassification that are beneficial and develops and submits applications where appropriate
_Education and Experience_
- Bachelors degree
- 7+YOE in one or more of the following areas: Reimbursement, Medicare, Enrollment and/or Healthcare policy
- Experience in MGCRB and Rural reclassification
