MD – Medical Doctor – Family Practice specialty preferred

Responsibilities include a variety of direct patient services including assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation and monitoring the general patient management plan for clinic patients. The staff physician will be involved in continuous Quality Improvement practices and measures and attend monthly Med Staff meetings to help improve the care for our patients. Southern Humboldt Community Clinic is conveniently located in conjunction with Jerold Phelps Community Hospital, together offering a continuum of quality healthcare to surrounding communities. By providing care in the skilled nursing facility, clinic, lab, radiology department, critical access hospital and emergency room, Physicians play a vital and rewarding role. The position is uniquely diverse, challenging and gratifying. It is a rare opportunity to practice a full spectrum medicine with a collaborative team and still have time to interact with patients.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Current CA License, DEA certificate, Board Certified in Family Practice preferred, but not required, and current life support certification(s)

$230,000-$250,000 negotiable
