Job Summary and Qualifications

The Lead Technologist will be responsible for overseeing all personnel on
shift to ensure that all procedures are performed, controlled, recorded, and
reported properly and safely. They create an environment of safe customer
service focus and enforce laboratory and hospital policies in absence of
Laboratory Director or Section Supervisor.

# What qualifications you will need:

* Bachelor’s degree
|

• Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Technology or military training program Preferred – Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology.

|

• MT(ASCP) Certified or Equivalent or eligible for ASCP certification.

|

• Required – Four years laboratory experience as medical technologist. Prefer One year of previous supervisory experience in laboratory with hospital environment.

|

• Must have specific technical knowledge of laboratory testing methods and theory pertinent to job position. Must have specific knowledge of operating and maintaining laboratory instruments pertinent to job position. Proficient in the English language, both speaking and writing; and experience preferred experience with computer data-entry.
