Mission driven Medical Director needed to help grow our team in Erie PA

Community Health Net (CHN), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) serving the Lake Erie region, is seeking a full-time medical director to coordinate medical teams to ensure smooth operations and achieve high-quality care services for our patients. You will lead and supervise a team of different medical departments and clinicians to provide quality care to the underserved and underinsured communities in our region. You will serve as the senior clinical advisor to Community Health Net management and represent the interests of the practicing clinicians to Administration and the Board of Directors. You will define and explain corporate goals and directives to the medical staff and ensure that all clinicians comply with all regulatory and legal requirements.

Requirements/Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited medical school and a current license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is required. Board certification is required. Minimum five (5) years’ experience as practicing physician required. Minimum of 3 years administrative experience in a clinical healthcare related field. Meets and maintains credentialing and privileging criteria as outlined in the credentialing and privileging policy.
