dedicated MRI Supervisor like you to be a part of our team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Supervisor works in conjunction with the Imaging Manager, Director and
Medical Staff to improve the patient and work flow via providing support,
education and leadership to the technical staff. Supports the mission and
vision of the Medical Center of Arlington. Perform MRI procedures as outlined
by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, which include but are not
limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.
What You Will Do In This Role:

  • Responsible for the day to day operations of the MRI area of the Imaging Department.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment and policies – Hospital and Department – that are necessary for job performance, which include but are not limited to neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic and cardiac services.
  • Collaborates with other department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Coordinates the work activities of assigned staff associates and patient scheduling.
  • Maintains and achieves daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

What Qualifications You Will Need:

  • Current License as an MRI Tech by ARMRIT or ARRT (MR) required.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician
  • Vocational School Graduate
  • Current Healthcare Provider BLS issued by the American Heart Association required.
  • Experience in performing all MRI procedures.
  • Two (2) years’ experience as a Chief MRI Technologist or five (5) years as an MRI Technologist preferred.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
