MercyOne North Iowa is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join a private group in Mason City, Iowa. We offer an excellent compensation package paired with a remarkable work-life balance in a beautiful, laid-back community in north Iowa.

_Opportunity Details:_

* 3 Physician Practice

* APP Support: 3 PAs assisting in surgery, clinic, and rounding

* Call Rotation: 1:3

* Case Mix: Spine 80% & Cranial/Trauma 20%

* Block OR Time

* Surgery Volume: 18-25/week for the whole practice

* Clinic Days: 2-3 days/week

* Clinic Patient Vol: 35-40/day amongst all providers

* On-site X-ray, PET, CT, MRI/functional MRI

* EMR: EPIC in 2025

* Base: $900,000

* Sign-on: $100,000

* Paid malpractice

* Full benefits package and 403(b) retirement match

* 30 days of PTO/year

* $5,000 CME allowance/year

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
