OB/GYN Hospitalist Opportunity in Springfield, MA – Work/Life Balance, No Call, Flexible Schedule

Position: OB Hospitalist – Full-Time/Part-time/PRN

Location: Springfield, Massachusetts

Facility Overview:

* Total Hospital Deliveries (monthly avg.): 69

* Total Hospital Deliveries (annual avg.): 828

* Total Hospital/Clinic GYN Surgery Volume (annual avg.): 650

* Residency Program? No

* How many LDRP rooms? 6

* How many Postpartum rooms? 10

* NICU Level: III

* Anesthesia: On-Call 24/7

* MFM: Teleconsults

* Fetal Monitoring System: Transitioning from Philips OB TraceVue to OBIX

* EMR used in Hospital: Transitioning from MEDITECH to Epic

* Midwives: Inhouse nights and weekends

Responsibilities (Location specific):

* OBHG Hospitalists are responsible for all unassigned patients and any OB/GYN emergencies

Work Schedule:

* Full-Time: 5 or more 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

* Part-Time: 2 to 4 24-hour shifts per 28-day block

* PRN: details available upon request
