OB/GYN Physician – Full-Scope Practice – Lincoln Hospital Women’s Center

Lincoln Hospital, a MaineHealth facility, seeks a BC/BE OB/GYN Physician to join our dedicated Women’s Center team in Damariscotta, Maine. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for an OB/GYN committed to providing full-scope care in a supportive, collaborative environment. You will be part of an established practice of four physicians (two OB/GYNs and two family physicians) and two certified nurse midwives, with a shared 1:4 weekend call rotation. Our practice supports a four-day work week and offers the chance to care for patients across outpatient, inpatient, and surgical settings.

Responsibilities:

Comprehensive OB/GYN Care: Deliver full-spectrum OB/GYN services, including outpatient reproductive health, labor and delivery, and major gynecologic surgeries, with a focus on minimally invasive hysterectomy.

Inpatient Collaboration: Work consultatively with advanced practice providers (APPs) in inpatient settings to ensure quality care.

Patient Panel: Manage and grow your own outpatient panel, fostering long-term patient relationships within a tight-knit community.

Emergency Response: Provide timely response for labor, delivery, and gynecologic emergencies.

Mentorship and Education: Participate in medical student precepting, contributing to the next generation of healthcare providers.

Qualifications:

Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program.

Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Minimum two years of experience providing full-scope OB/GYN care preferred; however, recent graduates with strong residency training will be considered.
