Position Description
The role:
* Work alongside 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 2 nurse practitioners, and skilled support staff
* Provide routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic services to a patient population of approximately 500,000. We are the referral center for two-thirds of Maine and many patients travel long distances to deliver at our hospital.
* Strongly supported robotic surgery program with four DaVinci Xi robots
* Our group performs approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 deliveries per year in Bangor.
* 24-hour access to Maternal Fetal Medicine consultation via phone with on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 full-time sonographers.
* On-site Anesthesia and Level III NICU
* Our team provides consultation services for the Northern Light Family Medicine residency program, and we have rotating medical students.
