Occupational Therapist

Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients. Plan and organize a care plan to help rehabilitate those impaired because of illness, injury or psychological or developmental problems. Perform and document an initial examination and evaluation to identify problems and determine a OT diagnosis prior to intervention Select activities that will help individuals learn work and life-management skills within limits of their mental or physical capabilities. Design and create, or requisition, special supplies and equipment, such as splints, braces, and computer-aided adaptive equipment. Discharge patient from occupational therapy when maximum potential has been reached, and/ or provide follow-up care or referrals as needed. Obtain patient measurements to determine effects of treatments or for patient evaluations. Education & Experience Requirements: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy Must obtain and maintain a South Dakota License Work Schedule: Varied Compensation: Competitive Salary!
