Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Occupational Therapist Assistant at our facility you will be joining a
team that is dedicated to serving others in need and making everyday decisions
based on compassion. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you
have the opportunity to make a difference. Join us in our efforts to better
our community! In this role, under the direction of a licensed Occupational
Therapist:
· You will provide implementation of Plan of Care and treatment of patients
with physical/cognitive disabilities and pain within the scope of practice of
a licensed Occupational Therapist Assistant.
· You will participate in a multi-disciplinary team to implement therapeutic
interventions and instructional programs pertinent to Occupational Therapy.
· You will assist patients in reaching their maximum performance and level of
functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
· You will participate in department improvement activities.
· You will deliver appropriate care to a variety of patient populations
including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric and ensure excellent
care is given to all patients.
Qualifications:
· Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant
program.
· Current State of Idaho Occupational Therapist Assistant license.
· American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support
Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification.
· Acute and Rehabilitation experience of one year is preferred.
