Ophthalmology Opportunities

Summa Health is seeking board certified/board eligible Ophthalmologists to join our employed physician group. The selected candidate will become a member of Summa Health Medical Group, a multi-specialty group practice of 400+ physicians employed by the Summa Health System. At Summa Health, we offer high quality ophthalmic medical and surgical care to meet the community s needs. We pride ourselves on offering comprehensive care, but in an intimate and personalized setting. __We are able to support General/Comprehensive, Glaucoma, and Retina subspecialties at this time_._ Our Ophthalmology Clinic is located at our main campus in Akron, 75 Arch St.

_Options for Scheduling:_ these options below can be modified to fit your professional goals.

__Schedule 1:__

* 3 weeks in the Ophthalmology Clinic
* Will be in surgeries during clinic week
* 2 surgery days surgery centers are located at Akron and Medina (volume dependent)
* 1 week of call

__Schedule 2:__

* Call Only Schedule
* 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

_Candidate Requirements_

* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
* Unrestricted Ohio License or willingness to obtain
* Commitment to quality care in a patient centered, team-based environment
