Position Description
The Staff Optometrist renders safe, quality eye care to patients. The Staff Optometrist is a professional who assumes responsibility and accountability of the delivery and management of patient eye care. The Staff Optometrists assess patients’ eyes to identify vision defects, diseases, and injuries. Their duties include maintaining medical files, evaluating eye defects, recording treatment plans, and performing eye inspections. The Staff Optometrist assists in supervision of optical support staff and performs related duties.
