Position Description

The department of orthopedics has a rare opportunity for a fellow trained sports medicine surgeon to join our dynamic and team-oriented group. Completion of an ACGME accredited orthopedic residency training is required. In addition, an orthopedic sports fellowship is necessary for this role. The clinician will partner with one other sports surgeons and complementary staff to provide comprehensive state of the art care. As a member of the department of orthopedics, there will be some general orthopedic care as well as outreach required. Board certification or eligibility is required. Must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible within the area of medicine stated. In addition, must have or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region with no restrictions or limitations. Medical staff in our system will supervise advanced practice clinicians. Medical staff may need to provide outreach service as part of their role in the system. Teaching students, residents, fellows or clinical staff is cornerstone to our Medical Education philosophy and an expectation of all medical staff.
