PA Challenging Frontier Adventure in Colorado

Basin Clinic, Inc. (BCI) is a non-profit Independent Rural Health Clinic looking for a full-time experienced Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) looking to join a dynamic team. As a provider at our clinic, you will be required to work as the sole medical provider. This position will provide care for adults and children of all ages. This will include the management of chronic conditions, annual exams, treatment of acute illnesses, and urgent/emergent care for treating and sending home or stabilization of patients for transport to a higher level of care. On average, the provider is responsible for seeing 15 or more patients per day. This position is a challenging yet very rewarding job, requiring a minimum of 2 years independent practice as well as some experience in Rural Health Care.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Minimum Education/Experience

* Graduation from an accredited program of advanced practitioner (PA or NP)

* 2 years of Advanced Practice experience in Primary Care and/or Urgent Care

* Licensed in the State of Colorado

* CO DEA license

* Strong computer skills required. EMR experience required

* Basic Life Support – AHA

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – AHA

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – AHA

* Advance Trama Life Support (ATLS) preferred

* 12-Lead EKG interpretation

* First read X-Ray

* Documented Mental Health counseling and prescribing preferred

* DOT Medical Examiner Certification preferred

* EMR systems (we use Athena)

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

Sign-on/Moving bonus

Free shared housing available on-site for providers

Salary is $105,000 to $150,000 per year depending on experience.

$1,500 CME reimbursement per year and 40 hours paid time for CME.

Compensation Range:

$100,000 +
