Pediatric Anesthesiologist OpportunityRiverside University Health System Medical Center The Loma Linda University Faculty Medical Group seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to serve at Riverside University Health System Medical Center (RUHS), a 439-bed acute tertiary-care facility and Level II pediatric trauma center featuring the only PICU in Riverside County. Position Duties & Highlights

* Clinical duties include both pediatric and adult anesthesia
* Pediatric case mix includes orthopedic, general surgery, ENT, urology, plastics, trauma, and non-operating room procedures and imaging studies
* Comprehensive adult surgical case mix excluding cardiac and transplant

* Call schedule: 3 in-house nights and one 24-hour weekend/holiday per month
* Lead development of expanding pediatric anesthesia services
* Protected time for directorship responsibilities and academic pursuits
* Interact with RUHS administration, surgical leadership, and medical staff leadership
* Develop and oversee creation of departmental guidelines and protocols applicable to pediatric anesthesia

* Competitive base salary starting at $418,000 to $438,000 with adjustment for academic rank and directorship roles

Required Qualifications

* MD/DO or Foreign Equivalent
* Board certification/eligibility in Anesthesiology
* Completion of an accredited Pediatric Anesthesia Fellowship or Equivalent
* California medical license
* Valid DEA registration number
