Small Town Pediatrics is a well established and growing practice in Silverton – adding multiple babies weekly. A new clinician can expect to be busy and build a panel quickly. Small Town Pediatrics opened in Polk County in early 2024 at the Independence/Monmouth location. Small Town Pediatrics will be the ONLY pediatric practice in Polk County and there is much anticipation. This is a great opportunity for a provider to build reputation and a patient base.

Working with Small Town Pediatrics

At Small Town Pediatrics you will have time to enjoy the bounty and diversity of the Pacific Northwest. Clinicians share call by telephone only – no hospital rounding. Our practice closes at 5:00 Monday through Thursday, with no office hours Friday afternoons and weekends. Full time is defined as 28 – 30 patient contact hours per week with a protected half-day for administrative time each week. Want a 3 day weekend? A work week of 4 days for full time work is possible, if desired.

Looking for more connection with your patient families than a 10 minute visit with your hand on the doorknob? Small Town Pediatrics is designed to be profitable seeing 12 patients per clinician per day. That allows us time to connect with and serve our families. Our focus is on preventive care and developmental guidance, as well as managing children with complex medical needs who don’t happen to live in population centers with tertiary care resources. Our capable team and smart scheduling ensures a good flow for the workday and support to meet our patients’ needs.

Education & Experience Requirements:

* Graduation from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy.
* Completion of an approved residency program in Pediatrics.
* License to practice medicine in the State of Oregon, or ability to obtain.
* Must be qualified in Basic Life Support techniques.
* DEA Certificate to prescribe in the State of Oregon, or ability to obtain one by the time of hire.
* American Board of Pediatrics certification or eligibility

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

$160,000 to $240,000 annual compensation (Includes minimum $160,000 base, 25% quarterly production bonus, annual profit sharing)
