Position Description
IOP Certified Peer Recovery Specialist will assist in providing direct client care as part of a clinical team. The position is one that provides case management services, facilitate group education, crisis management, phone screens and introduce clients to community resources. The position also is to assist with the administrative duties of the IOP.
Working conditions:
– Ability to walk, climb stairs and sit for extended amount of time.
– Establish and maintain professional relationships with client, staff and outside providers.
– Provide own reliable transportation and vehicle insurance.
– Communicate with clients and colleagues in person and in writing.
– Functions as part of a team and required to collaborate with other team members.
Works under regular direction and supervision of the IOP Manager according to Agency’s mission and philosophy
CPRS certification preferred, but program manager will provide supervision hours toward certification if applicable
