Job Summary and Qualifications
The Pharmacy Technician Coordinator is that individual who, under the
supervision of the Pharmacy Operations Manager, Assistant Director of Pharmacy
or Director of Pharmacy, assists in the various activities involving the daily
direct supervision of technician and intern functions. Such duties include,
but need not be limited to: workflow, call-in, overtime, payroll and
scheduling. The Pharmacy Technician Coordinator will perform specialized
clerical functions including, but not limited to: staff meeting agenda and
minutes, outside and inter-office mail, human resources paperwork, and
maintain employee educational books. Direct supervision of daily technician
and intern duties including performance management and reviews.

Assists management in the retrieval of accurate, concise, applicable and
meaningful data or statistics.
Collects patient-specific data as necessary to assist management in designing,
implementing, monitoring, evaluating, and modifying policies or procedures to
ensure effective, safe and economical patient care.
Composes and drafts correspondence.
# What qualifications you will need:
Required – 4 years Pharmacy technician
Preferred – 4 years Pharmacy technician + 2 years supervisory experience
Required- Certified Pharmacy technician program certification required
Required – CPhT National certification
