Sullivan County Memorial Hospital is actively seeking a dynamic family practice physician to join our hospitaland clinic team, while also becoming an integral member of our community. With a legacy of over 70 years dedicated to serving the residents of our county, the hospital is known for its commitment to “caring for patients like family”.

Our current provider team consists of two-familypractice physicians and three family nurse practitioners, with additional part-time staff assisting with coverage in the Emergency Department. While we are presently well-staffed, we are proactively planning for the future. Our goal is to integrate additional providers to meet anticipated growth and to prepare for the eventual retirement of some physicians on our team.

Our Board of Trustees and the Administrative Team are diligently working on the designa nd construction of a new facility that will accommodate a critical access hospital and clinic, addressing the needs of our continually thriving community. With the anticipated 2026 opening of the new Roy blunt Reservoit – a 2800 acre recreational lake and primary water source for north-central Missouri – our country is poised for continued growth in population, business opportunities, and as a premier outdoor destination for nature enthusiasts.

Requirements: Missouri DO or MD in good standing Board Eligible Family Physician 3-5 years experience DEA & BNDD qualified Live within 20 miles of Milan(eventually) In-Patient, ER & Clinic coverage BLS, ACLS, PALS & ATLS/TNCC
