Physician Assistant – ER

Cascade Medical Center is hiring for a Physician Assistant experienced in Emergency Medicine and is comfortable being the sole ER provider in a Rural Emergency Hospital. Provider will also cover Urgent care at times. CMC has Rural Health Clinics in Cascade and Donnelly. Our hospital is located in the beautiful Long Valley, near Lake Cascade, the Payette River, and National Forests. We are located 2 hours north of Boise in an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise with year-round recreational activities right outside our door.

Our Donnelly Clinic is open 7 days per week where we see patients on both a scheduled and walk-in basis. The Cascade Clinic is open 5 days per week. We do full-scope primary care – preventive, well, and sick; pediatrics to geriatrics; and acute to chronic. We are an NHSC site.

The provider team consists of 3 physicians and 6 APPs. We have a full lab, CT, X-Ray, and Ultrasound. Our LCSW provides counseling and social work services. We have inpatient, outpatient, and at-home Physical Therapy.

Required: At least 3 years of post-licensure experience

Hours: Typical Schedule: 9 ER shifts per month (24-hour shifts). Average of 4 ER patients per 24 hour shift. Provider may see Urgent Care patients during ER Day Shift. Provider may cover Urgent Care location from time to time in lieu of ER shifts.

Compensation: Base Salary of $115K-$130K per year Depending on Experience, + Quality Bonus
