Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality,
patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the
standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with
medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized,
comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models
such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” You will also act as an advocate
for patients, families, and caregivers, embodying the organization’s vision,
mission, and values to ensure an outstanding patient experience and positive
clinical outcomes.
About this unit:
Medical Telemetry (3 North) is a 19 bed newly renovated unit that takes
medical surgical or telemetry monitored patients; primarily with renal,
urology, oncology, pulmonary and general surgical diagnoses. This unit is
culture driven and strives to provide exceptional patient care and a teamwork
atmosphere. At MMC we pride ourselves on providing compassionate, safe, and
quality care, while instilling a nursing culture where teamwork, recognition,
decision-making, and driving outcomes start at the bedside. Menorah is
recognized by the ANCC as a Pathway to Excellence Designated facility which
represents a positive work environment where nurses can flourish. Our shared
leadership structure creates a vision for the culture and strives to instill
that vision in the nurses at the bedside. Each department has a designated
clinical nurse educator with many options for career mapping and growth!

# What qualifications you will need:

* Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree
