Position Description

FSRI is always looking for candidates that want to make a positive impact on the community we serve in!

Position Summary: Provides administrative and organizational support to the Victim Services team.

Keeps a centralized calendar of data and progress reporting deadlines across numerous and varied funders

Maintains current victim services policies/procedures

Assists with vetting and scheduling interviews for potential Victim Services staff

Assists with planning and logistics for National Crime Victim Rights Week activities

Assists with planning and logistics for the RI State Victim Assistance Academy

Orders/maintains inventory of victim incentives, basic needs supplies, staff uniforms, program supplies, and office supplies

Conducts victim satisfaction survey calls

Coordinates team meetings, training logistics, agendas, and accreditation tasks

Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in human services or criminal justice preferred. However, FSRI will consider a variety of related education, clinical credentials, and years of experience.

Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance required

Strong project management skills required

Experience working with individuals and families affected by violence and other forms of trauma exposure required preferred

Must have excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills

Demonstrated ability to organize self and others; to work independently and take initiative

Bilingual skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 20lbs.

Travel to and from community locations and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators
