Position Description

Riverview Psychiatric Center seeks a BC / BE Psychiatrist to join our staff. This is a Monday through Friday position with no call obligation providing care to patients in a state run, adult inpatient facility. The hired candidate will have a panel of 10 to 12 patients working closely with the designated unit PMHNP. This position is an interesting mix of inpatient work including psychopharmacology, psychotherapy, and team interaction, and is fully supported by a multidisciplinary treatment team, including medical care.

Must haves:

· State of Maine License or eligibility.

· Board Certified or eligibility

· Work well in a team and be enthusiastic and dedicated to providing compassionate care.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Must haves:
Possession of a current license or ability to obtain a license to practice medicine in the State of Maine and National Board Certification
