Psychologists serve our community through performing fitness restoration services to court-ordered clients already found Unfit to Stand Trial as well as providing diagnostic and treatment services to individuals and groups, clinical consultations to staff, consultation and education to community groups, and participating in program development.
Essential Functions
Provides direct services to clients including individual and group treatment.
Performs initial evaluations and assessments of potential clients regarding their appropriateness for participation in the program.
Performs fitness restoration services to court-ordered clients already found Unfit to Stand Trial.
Conducts psychological assessments when appropriate.
Provide direct restoration counseling services to appropriate adults & write reports to court. Coordinate/consult with treating psychiatrist as appropriate.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours a week
Tuesday & Thursday (8am – 8pm)
Wednesday & Friday (8am – 5pm)
Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required
Doctorate degree in psychology, with at least one year of experience in chemical dependency/behavioral health treatment required.
Experience with court referred fitness restoration preferred.
Must be licensed by Illinois Department of Professional Regulation as a Clinical Psychologist.
Supplemental Information
This location is a qualified NHSC Loan Repayment Program site. As such, staff working at this site are eligible to apply for up to $25,000 a year in student loan repayments.
