Utah Cancer Specialists (UCS), Utah’s largest community-based oncology practice, is seeking a skilled, congenial and hard-working Full Time Radiation Oncology Physician, to provide consultation, prescribe treatment and follow up services for our radiation oncology patients. Our Radiation Oncology Department plays a vital role at UCS. Applicants must possess an M.D. degree (or equivalent), be board certified in Radiation Oncology (or eligible by time of appointment) and hold an unrestricted medical license (by time of appointment). Candidate will also be a board certified Radiation Oncologist in the discipline of Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).

UCS is supported by 21 medical oncologists, 12 radiation oncologists, 1 social worker, 25 mid-level providers (NPs/PA-Cs) and 64 supporting oncology nurses. UCS oncologists have expertise in every type of cancer, including rare malignancies, and treat approximately 50% of diagnosed patients in Utah. With twelve clinics throughout the Wasatch Front and one clinic in Idaho Falls (Fall 2022), Utah Cancer Specialists (UCS) is one of the most extensive, physician-owned, oncology practices.

We actively participate in cooperative Phase ll – IV clinical research, and are supported by highly skilled research staff and research professionals. In addition, Utah Cancer Specialists Start Mountain Region is one of the largest Phase I groups in the world, both in the USA and Europe, conducting over 300 trials and placing 7000+ patients on study; In the pursuit of safer, more effective cancer treatments and tomorrow’s cure.
