Recovery Capital Specialist

The Serenity Center is a peer-run recovery center serving individuals seeking recovery from substance use. Recovery Capital refers to the set of resources available to an individual to help support their recovery: personal capital, social capital, community capital, emotional support, commitment to sobriety, and well-being. CCA is seeking a peer recovery specialist (certified or working towards certification) who will work with clients both one-on-one and in groups to assess and support building of recovery capital. This is a full-time position, with flexing of sometime to early evenings and/or a few hours on the weekends. Create engaging social events, run recovery meetings and engage vulnerable members of our community, including BIPOC, LGBTQ and other marginalized groups.

All staff must be vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to starting work, unless a certified medical exemption accommodation is granted. Proof of vaccination must be shown upon hire.
