Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality,
patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN
provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an
advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATIONS:

PREFERRED

• CCRN preferred
• PALS preferred
• TNCC preferred

REQUIRED (Certifications must be kept current)

• RN licensure in Texas or compact state.
• BCLS
• ACLS upon hire or one time grace period of 60 days for staff transitioning from med surge unit to progressive care unit.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum College: Associate Degree, Diploma in Nursing, or BSN.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE
AND ABILITIES:
Del Sol Medical Center Is a full service, acute-care hospital in east El
Paso, Texas. We have a Level II trauma designation. This facility has
300+ patient beds. Our range of services include emergency care, cardiac
care, women’s services, Level III NICU, rehabilitation, a bariatric clinic,
