Resource Registered Nurse, Emergency Department

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position will serve as a Resource Registered Nurse that provides departmental clinical expertise, staff development, mentoring and leadership.

MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:
Three (3) years ED/Critical Care nursing experience involving direct patient care including two (2) years’ experience in providing education and training to nursing staff.
Education:
Associate of Science degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
License:
Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in any U.S. State or Territory.
Certificates:
Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and maintain certification. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and maintain certification. Valid American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and maintain certification. Obtain valid certification in Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) within one (1) year from date of hire and maintain certification. Obtain valid certification in Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within one (1) year from date of hire and maintain certification.
