We hire new graduates! Flexible schedule and 3-day work week available for an RN at our Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence, RI!!!! If you are looking for a change and have a passion for working with individuals experiencing a mental health of substance abuse crisis, this job is for you. Conducting nursing assessments, providing crisis intervention, distributing psychotropic medication, implementing safety plans as well as facilitating voluntary and involuntary hospitalization are some of the duties for this position. This is a voluntary unit, so no need for physical restraining clients which occurs on inpatient psychiatric units! RNs can also facilitate treatment groups in collaboration with the counseling team. Mental health certification program is available for all new hires which assists RNs in becoming certified as a qualified mental health professional in the state of R.I.
