Job Summary and Qualifications

As an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN), you will work
toprovidepatient care in critical emergency situations. You work with a team
of physicians and multiple other healthcare professionals. You will assist
patients where their condition vary from minor to critically ill and/or
injured – every case is different and interesting.
What you will do in this role:

• Assess, plan and evaluate patient care needs.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources.
• Assist physician during examination, treatment and procedures.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition, as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation system.
• Provide age and culturally appropriate care.

# What qualifications you will need:

* Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• 1 year acute care experience
• 1-2 years experience in the Emergency Department preferred

care facility has 417-beds. Our services include trauma, burn, surgical,
women’s and children’s services, behavioral health and diagnostic services. We
have two full service free-standing ER facilities. HCA Florida Kendall
