Position Description

Located 2 hours south of Denver on the I-25 corridor, Pueblo Community Health Center (PCHC) is in the family-oriented, multi-cultural town of Pueblo, CO (pop. 150,000). Whether proximity to the great outdoors is a priority or big city shopping, dining, entertainment, and professional sports are more your thing, our location is ideal.

We are seeking a full-time acute care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with a passion for serving those in need. The new provider will work a flexible, full-time schedule in a family practice clinic that sees patients of all ages. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about practicing team-based care with excellent clinical support staff. We offer:

* An annual salary dependent on experience ($107,000 to $138,000)

PCHC has 12 sites that provide medical, dental, and behavioral health services. The newest site (East Side Clinic) opened in January 2022, and is a three story, net zero energy building which was constructed utilizing the most current solar and geothermal renewable energy techniques. Constructed in 2010, the main clinic (Colorado Avenue Clinic) is in a beautiful, three-story building and is equipped with the latest technology. There are two hospitals within five miles of both clinics. The community was recognized by Livability.com as one of the Top 10 Cities for Historic Preservation and is a short drive to a plethora of outdoor activities including world-class skiing, hiking, kayaking, and boating.

Education & Experience Requirements:

_Education/Experience/License/Certification:_

* Graduate of an AMA accredited Physician’s Assistant program
* Certified by the National Commission of Certification of Physician’s Assistants
* Insurable for medical liability
* Previous ambulatory experience
* Valid driver’s license and auto insurance as required by law
* Current B.L.S. with skills demonstration C.P.R. certification for Healthcare Providers required

Work Schedule:

Weekdays (8-5)

Compensation:

Position is salary, non-production-based and is guaranteed. Health and dental insurance are employer sponsored with contribution for spouse/dependents. All licensing, association, malpractice coverage is paid by employer. Annual continuing education funds are allocated along with 40 hours of additional paid time off. Retirement plan has employer match after 1 year of employment. With HPSA score of 23, medical providers have excellent access to federal and state loan repayment programs.

Compensation Range:

$100,000 +
